Matthäus Seutter was a German cartographer. He founded the Seutter printing house and publishing house.

Matthäus Merian came from the distinguished Merian family of Basel. He worked as an engraver and publisher.

Because tradition connects
The profession of antiquarian bookseller has a long family tradition: My grandfather, Anton Düssel, held the first auction in Düsseldorf after the end of the Second World War. The business grew out of the well-known antiquarian bookshop Stiche Düssel at Gendarmenmarkt.

I am an antique dealer and art dealer out of passion.
I inherited my interest and enthusiasm for antique maps from my father Karl Düssel and grandfather Anton Düssel.
Over time, I developed a strong interest in modern art.
